Wide area-boil water advisory-for Hwy 187 S beginning Wilmac Dr and extending to Hwy 29 S

March 19, 2026

Loss of water/pressure and boil water advisory in effect for Hwy 187 S beginning at Wilmac Drive and extending to Hwy 29 S at Singing Pines. This includes all of Hwy 29 S  and all secondary roads from Hwy 187 S and Hwy 29 S. If you have experienced a loss of water/pressure this afternoon please adhere to this advisory.

A boil water advisory is a precautionary measure advising people to boil their tap water to be used for consumption.

Boil water advisories are issued after an event such as a large water main break, a widespread loss of system pressure, or a natural disaster.

Because it takes at least 24 hours to get test results, a boil water advisory is a precautionary measure issued until test results confirm the water is safe. Boiling water for at least one minute will kill bacteria, if any are present.
